* THERE HAVE BEEN A LOT OF CHANGES IN THE NEW YEAR!
After 14 years of owning and operating Café Felix, Felix and his brothers have decided to pursue separate ventures. We are all really excited about our fresh new ideas which will allow our individual personalities to flourish!
-Peter and his wife, Megan, have opened The Red Brick Kitchen & Bar (not your typical pub fare) in downtown Dexter and we're proud to say, is off to a spectacular start!
-David has plans brewing, look for something from him in the not so distant future.
Meanwhile, Felix has taken sole ownership of Café Felix and is transforming "FELIX" to reflect his concept of the perfect balance between the classic French Bistro dining experience in combination with the New York City Martini Bar. What better community to appreciate a blend of such delectable cultures!
Felix has brought on a classically trained chef, Chef Daniel. Daniel has been a chef at both the Gandy Dancer and Polo Fields. Daniel's central focus is in creating Flavor Profiles, specifically with Small Plates and Bistro type fare. Look for these Flavor Profiles in our new menu offerings (Sashimi of Tuna, served with Jicama and Micro Wasabi; Braised Beef Short Ribs served with creamy corn polenta & fried Brussels sprouts; Wild Mushroom Gougères garnished with frisée; Chorizo Stuffed Poblano Peppers with tangy Bistro aiöli). He is so very passionate and committed! We are Happy to have him on board!
